"What do I even like?"
You've asked it in a store, scrolling at night, on a day off with nothing planned. And the answer keeps coming back blank.
A 4-week zine making cohort for late-diagnosed AuDHD women.
Somewhere along the way, you stopped knowing.
You used to love things. Maybe intensely. Maybe a little too much for the people around you.
The books you read until the spines broke. The band you knew everything about. The thing you did for hours until someone called it a phase.
Somewhere along the way, you learned which interests were safe to show and which ones to keep quiet. You got so good at liking the right things that you stopped noticing the difference.
Now you stand in a store and can't buy the thing you're drawn to, because it doesn't seem like "you." Except you're not sure what "you" is anymore.
As one woman put it: "I can't tell if I like something because I like it, or because I'm supposed to."
You spent years reading the room and becoming whatever others needed. That took real skill. It also buried a lot of what you liked, wanted, and were drawn to.
So you're left with a question that sounds small and feels enormous: What do I even like?
What four weeks together can actually do
This isn't therapy. It isn't an art class either.
Four weeks won't hand you a full answer to who you are. What it can give you is a few clues: things you reach for before your brain has time to check whether you're allowed to like it.
Together, we make one zine, a few pages at a time, live on the call. A zine is a tiny handmade booklet folded from a single sheet of paper. It's small on purpose. Small is easier to start, and nobody is grading it.
Every session follows the same rhythm, so you always know what's coming: we arrive and ground, I share the week's prompt, we make, and then there's an optional share.
Week 1 (Jan 21): Fold and begin. A short teaching on AuDHD and masking. We fold the zine, make the cover, and make one page about something you're looking forward to: one small thing in the next four weeks. Draw it, write it, or use colors and shapes. It can be tiny or silly. And if nothing comes up, you'll pick a color you'd like to see more of and fill the page with it.
Week 2 (Jan 28): Show and tell. Two pages on a special interest, something you love. You don't have to justify it or explain why.
Week 3 (Feb 4): What got set aside. A short teaching on unmasking and the things we buried to fit in. Two pages on something you stopped doing, or something you feel you're not allowed to try. You can skip or switch prompts anytime.
Week 4 (Feb 11): Your next step. Flip through your zine, make one page about a real-life next step toward something you want to explore, then finish the back cover and put it together. Everyone reads their next step out loud.
What you walk away with
✔ One finished zine: eight small pages, made by your own hands, about what's genuinely yours.
✔ A few clues about what you're drawn to, found by making instead of just thinking.
✔ One real-life next step toward something you want to explore, said out loud and witnessed by women who get it.
You won't walk away with a whole new identity. You'll have a small handmade record of what's true for you, and one simple next step.
Who this is for
You're a late-diagnosed AuDHD woman who doesn't know what she likes anymore.
Maybe you're still in the disorientation that comes after diagnosis. Maybe you've been unmasking for a while and keep hitting the same blank whenever someone asks what you're into.
You don't need to be "creative." You don't need a special interest you feel proud of. If all you have is a faint memory of something you used to love, that's enough to start.
This is a small space to begin. No rush to go deep. Deeper can come later.
How it works
4 weeks, one live 90-minute group call each week over Zoom.
Planned dates: Thursdays, Jan 21, Jan 28, Feb 4, Feb 11.
Planned time: 6pm PT / 9pm ET. If that time doesn't work for you, let me know when you sign up. The group is small enough to adjust.
Small group: 4 to 6 people, capped at 6, so it stays small.
All zine making happens on the call. No homework. Nobody falls behind.
Private Padlet board for anyone who wants it. Share your pages, or see what others are making and discovering along the way. Just reading, offering support, or lurking are all welcome.
Supplies: pen, colored pencils, paper, magazines, scissors and glue. No need to buy anything new.
Investment: $277
Registration closes Sunday, December 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.
A note on this first round: This is the first time I'm running Unmask Your Interests, so it's a little experimental. At the end, I'll email you to ask what worked and what didn't. Your feedback will help me shape the next round.
Before you decide
✧ Is this only for AuDHD women? No. I say AuDHD because that’s my lived experience and it's who I see most often. But this is for anyone who identifies as neurodivergent, ADHD, Autistic, or AuDHD.
✧ I'm not creative, and I've never made a zine. Can I still do this? Yes. Skill has nothing to do with it, and nothing needs to look good. I'll walk you through folding the zine on the first call. After that, it's just you noticing what your hands reach for.
✧ What if I don't have a special interest? That's okay, and it's more common than you'd think. Many of us buried ours so long ago we can't find them. Week 2 is a place to look, even if all you bring is a faint memory or a maybe.
✧ What if I don't want to share on the calls? You don't have to share anything you don't want to. Making your own pages quietly counts. The one exception is week 4, when everyone reads their next step out loud, and it can be one sentence.
✧ What if the day or time doesn't work for me? Let me know when you sign up. With only 4 to 6 people, I'd rather move the calls than lose you. And if we really can't find a time that works, I'll give you a full refund.
✧ What if four weeks isn't enough to figure out what I like? It won't be enough to figure out everything, and I want to be honest about that up front. What it will give you is a few real clues and one simple next step to follow after we're done.
✧ I've already tried planners, therapy, all the things. What's different here? Most of what you've tried asked you to think your way to an answer. This asks your hands first, before the part of your brain that edits and performs gets a say.
✧ Do I need to be on camera? No. Come as you are, however that looks that week.
Still have a question this page didn't answer? Email me and I'll get back to you.
The invitation
You don't have to know what you like before you start. Starting is how you find out.
Six spots. Four Thursdays. One small zine that's yours.
If some part of you is curious about what you'd reach for when nobody's watching, I'd love to have you. 💖
