My Multi-Passionate Life: A Creative Diary Video Series – Part 2

Welcome to Part 2 of My Multi-Passionate Life, a creative diary series where I share my journey as a coach, artist, designer, and multi-passionate entrepreneur—in real time.

In this second episode of the series, I open up about what’s been stirring inside me since deciding to share more of my whole self online, not just as a creative coach or a professional designer, but also as the messy, curious, and deep feeling human I really am.

Join me as I reflect on the many things I tried to do in the past to fit in the creative space and gain the approval and acceptance of my peers. I also talk about how those experiences disconnected me from my intuition and how I’m learning to return to a more intentional and intuitive way of creating. And, why I think letting ourselves create in a messy and unfiltered way is the best and most genuine thing we can do as multi-passionate people.

🎥 Watch the Video: Journey + Art Process

In this vlog, I share my personal experience of following the traditional career path of a professional artist after art school. I open up about the pressure I felt to carefully curate everything I shared online and how that led to performing for approval rather than creating from a place of joy. Eventually, I realized how stifling it all felt. This episode is about the journey back to letting go of needing to “figure it all out” and rediscovering the freedom to have fun and simply play.

🎧 Listen to the Podcast: Afterthoughts + Creative Prompts

In this audio reflection I talk about the emotional rollercoaster since starting this project series. I open up about the behind-the-scenes return to my art after a two-year hiatus (and not getting the response I had hoped for), working through perfectionism, and self-judgement. While also making some key discoveries about my audience and the importance of personal values in my journey as a multi-passionate entrepreneur.

✨ Favorite Quotes from the Episode

“I've tried the linear path, I've tried to choose one thing and stick to it. I tried to follow the rules that the marketing gurus tell you to follow. In the end I felt really unhappy and dissatisfied.”

“ I tried curating a version of myself that looked good in an effort to fit in but in reality this wasn't sustainable because it was a performance.”

“The truth is that I don't have a plan. I am choosing what brings me joy, what brings me fulfillment, what makes me feel happy, and what allows me to play and not necessarily what looks impressive.”

🎨 Try This Creative Prompt

Make something a little messy on purpose—a scribbly doodle, a rambling voice note, a half-finished poem, or whatever wants to come out. Let it be honest, weird, or unfinished.

If you’re feeling bold, share it publicly or send it to a friend who gets it. Or you can just keep it for yourself.

Then ask: How did that feel? What came up when you let it be what it is, without cleaning it up?
